Berkeley Park

Berkeley Park

Lay of the land

Berkeley Park is a small intown residential pocket just west of Atlantic Station and north of the Westside Provisions district. Most of the housing stock is 1920s-1940s bungalows and small cottages on tight lots. The neighborhood association is active, and the recent buildout of West Midtown’s restaurant scene has put Berkeley Park within an easy walk of significant dining.

What makes it different

Bungalow density on the Westside. Most intown bungalow neighborhoods are east of the connector. Berkeley Park is the rare westside exception with a concentrated stretch of original 1920s-40s craftsman bungalows.

Walking access to Westside Provisions. Most Berkeley Park houses are within a 10-minute walk of the Westside restaurant and shopping concentration, which is rare and valuable.

What to watch

Lot size and grading. Many Berkeley Park lots are narrow with slope. Foundation and drainage issues are more common here than in flatter neighborhoods. Inspect carefully.
