John Morgan is Managing Broker for and a founding partner with Park Realty. Park Realty was founded in 2016 as a local boutique brokerage that could service the needs of clients looking for realtors who are experts in the local market and provide the highest level of quality in their services. John Morgan specializes in the local Atlanta real estate market and loves working with clients who are excited about the benefits of living in Atlanta’s great intown neighborhoods.

John has lived in Atlanta and been around the real estate business most of his life. His mother was Realtor with Harry Norman in East Cobb for 20+ years. His grandfather was a real estate investor. John bought his first investment property in 2000. He knows that real estate is the largest and best investment most people will make in their lives and he is committed to helping people find property that will be a sound investment and bring them a better quality of life. John has experience with intown investment properties, multi-family properties, and much knowledge of the single-family residential sector. He loves working with buyers to find great deals and dream homes, and loves helping sellers maximize their profit by selling for the best possible price.

John grew up in the metro Atlanta suburbs of Stone Mountain and Marietta, graduated from Walton High School in Marietta, GA, and has lived in intown since moving to Decatur in 1993 (over 25 years)! John has lived in the Candler Park / Lake Claire since 2000. He now lives in Lake Claire with his wife, Andrea and their two children. His family proudly supports our local public elementary school, Mary Lin Elementary. They spend their free time enjoying the local parks, restaurants, the Decatur YMCA, Decatur Yoga and Pilates, and the Lake Claire pool.

John Morgan has an extraordinary store of knowledge about intown Atlanta properties, both personally and professionally. He has sold properties all over the east side from Decatur to midtown to Grant Park, including but not limited to all of the following areas: Decatur, Candler Park, Lake Claire, Inman Park, Old 4th Ward, Midtown, Virginia Highlands, Druid Hills, Medlock Park, Reynoldstown, Cabbagetown, Ormewood Park, Grant Park, Glenwood Park, Peoplestown, Summerhill, East Lake, Kirkwood, Edgewood, Scottdale, Clarkston, and Avondale Estates.

Having grown up in the suburbs of Atlanta gives John knowledge of other areas outside of the intown market. John has also sold homes in all of the following suburban areas: Smyrna, Marietta, East Cobb, Roswell, Alpharetta, Woodstock, Canton, Johns Creek, Tucker, Lawrenceville, and Conyers.

John owns investment property in Kirkwood, Oakhurst, Candler Park, and Peoplestown, and loves working with new investors looking to learn more about the Atlanta investment market as well.

You'll see real sold comps and, when relevant, rental yields and cap-rate math. Decisions get easier when the data is on the table.

Every primary residence is also a long-term hold. I bring the same investment thinking I'd use on my own portfolio to every client purchase.

Honest on renovation

I've owned and renovated intown houses since 2000. If a "ready" house actually needs another $200k of work, I'll tell you before the inspection.

The block matters

Quality-of-life math is real. School zone, neighbors, walk-out radius. The right block at slightly more money usually beats the wrong block at a discount.
